  • To develop customer insights and analytics capabilities across the CU that drive commercial excellence enhancements and improve the customer experience
  • To provide a data analytics service to commercial units and to the territory leveraging expert tools and methodologies
  • To support CU planning process across businesses and functions to achieve strategic alignment and ensure delivery of the CU ambition
  • Lead the development, implementation and alignment of the CU territory strategy and strategic agenda
  • To oversee the CU planning process across businesses and functions to achieve strategic alignment and ensure delivery of the territory ambition in close cooperation withTLT
  • Support the development of CU governance bodies and the connection with the territory
  • Provide strategic foresight, analysis and insight to support the development of the CU strategy and planning processes

  • To drive & further develop the CU planning process and market intelligence coordination in close alignment with the regional / global corporate planning processes
  • To manage the collection and interpretation of market intelligence and data to provide actionable foresight for the Territory and CU’s teams
  • Develop and maintain excellent corporate intelligence about key competitors and market developments
  • To utilize analytical tools to interrogate market data to drive strategy development, planning and uncover / align business development opportunities
  • To manage the market intelligence budget for the CU and coordinate with the CULT to prioritize and align investments
  • To support the development and implementation process of the CU strategic agenda / X-Matrix (balanced score card), including governance, reporting, monitoring, risk management, escalation and intervention
  • Ensure alignment between the territory and CU of strategic initiatives and support the CU’s to ensure robust governance processes are in place
  • Prepare and coordinate materials for critical leadership committees / governance bodies
  • Support the risk management process and alignment with risk owners to ensure clear mechanisms are in place to control critical business risks
  • Qualifications


    Must be prepared for rapid decision making in a sometimes ambiguous environment

    Critical Knowledge

  • Good knowledge in strategy development and deployment process
  • Well-rounded understanding of commercial processes and product development concepts
  • Knowledge of analytical tools and processes
  • Critical Experience

  • 5+ years’ experience in commercial role
  • Significant background and / or education in crop agronomy or related field
  • Solid experience in project or program management
  • Demonstrated ability to convert research and analysis into tangible actions
