Scope and Purpose
Responsible for the overall performance and availability of ICT at the Istanbul Branch. Interface with IT Hub Manager and Global ITC in Head Office for the update, maintenance and running of the Branch's technical infrastructure : the core and global systems, the LAN, the Telecommunication and the outsourced ICT services for primary and secondary sites.
Directly accountable for the management and operations of the Bank's Information Technology department
Manage all Branch's critical core and global systems, SIRE / AS 400, Safewatch, Swift Alliance, etc.) and act as a point of reference with IT HUB Manager and Global ICT Head Office
Manage functioning of Wide and Local Area Network, as well as related hardware and software so as to ensure availability to the Branch's users
Interacts with all Branch's staff and Units to ensure the smooth running of Branch's operations, prompt troubleshooting and to ensure that the proper technology and support requirements are provided for all products and business lines
Report to HAO on all technology related issues including systems plan, budget, projects, performance, and other related matter, coordinating with the Dubai Hub, Global ICT and International Department
In coordination with HAO, manage ICT supplies and ICT outsourced services
Manage implementation of new software and applications, coordinating with IT Dubai Hub and Head Office
Manage Information Security
In coordination with HAO manage the Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans
Manages and acts as first point of reference for IT audits, both internal and external, as well as COBIT Audits
Assist HAO in managing logistics
Recommend and maintain IT strategies, policies and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes, identifying problems, evaluating trends anticipating requirements.
7+ years of experience as IT Manager in Banks
Track record in ICT project realizations
Experience in managing COBIT Audit
Knowledge of local core system strongly preferred.
