The Dow Chemical Company has a job opportunity for a Technical Sales Representative m / f to be located in Dilovası , Turkey .
This position is part of the commercial organization of 'Dow Polyurethanes ICEE Systems and expected to manage the commercial relationships in the assigned territory to deliver the stretched sales & profitability targets.
Successful candidate will handle the current customer network while identifying the potentials in Key Markets. Candidates are expected to achieve a high level of penetration across multiple functions such as procurement, technology, commercial and management.
The role will include development of strong relationship across value chain and development of selling projects around commercial and developmental opportunities.
The person will report to Commercial Director for Dow Polyurethanes ICEE Systems.
Key roles & Responsibilities :
Achieve a high level of penetration across multiple functions such as Procurement, Technology, Commercial and Management within customer base.
Maintain strong relationships at all levels of customer organization
Develop relationships across the Value Chain (Customer of Customer) as needed to support Sales goals with direct accounts
Develop strong multi-functional account teams such as Technical Service, R&D, Marketing, Supply Chain and Customer Service to effectively interface with customers
Effective negotiation of price, quantities, payment terms as to achieve the business plans
Manage customer pricing strategically in line with business goals
Deliver a high level of service to customers
Effectively resolve quality or service issues that arise
Work with customers to define un-met needs
Develop Selling Projects around commercial and developmental opportunities
Drive implementation of Innovation programs with Strategic Accounts
Successfully convert opportunities to sales growth
Maintain a high degree of knowledge on Dow Formulated Systems technology
Provide Voice of Customer input on key Innovation programs, being knowledgeable on market trends
Work closely with sales related functions to build good teamwork, foster customer satisfaction and deliver business results
Develop forecasts on anticipated customer product consumption
Provide needed data to Sales & Operations Planning teams to efficiently manage the business
Effectively manage sales terms and credit with assigned customers
Accomplish all assigned duties safely and in accordance with all Product Stewardship guidelines
University Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or related discipline
Technical Sales or Technical Development related experience will be a strong asset
Polyurethane experience is preferred
Good planning and analytical persuasion skills are required
Candidates should be willing to travel extensively across Turkey
Strong Business and financial acumen and professional level of computer literacy is a requirement
Strong fluency in both written and spoken Turkish and English in a business environment is a requirement, with excellent presentation skills
Candidates must demonstrate high level of credibility and work independently
Valid driving license and completion of military service is required
