Purpose and Objectives

The HCM Solution Consultant bears primary responsibility of providing HCM solution pre-sales support with a focus on pipeline and revenue growth primarily in Turkey within the ECEMEA Region.

Deep experience of HCM based solutions and relevant domain knowledge with a technology understanding and can-do attitude are also required.

The ability to work with customers and partners at an executive level, to understand and build the business case, design solutions to meet the key requirements of the customers are the objectives of this position.

Covering Oracle HCM solutions within the cloud in customer facing activities is expected.

Expectations and tasks

  • An experienced Solution Consultant with proven pre-sales experience and business acumen selling enterprise packaged application software in complex sales cycles.
  • Contributes to the achievement of Oracle HCM business revenue target.
  • Experience in HCM applications
  • Experience in cloud based solutions and is an advantage for this position.
  • A technology understanding with solution and integration architecture design with a can-do attitude is also required.
  • Fluent in English, ability to work with internal and external customers and partners across the region.
  • Qualifications

  • Minimum six years of HCM experience
  • Strong storytelling, presentation and demonstration skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Strong quantitative, analytical and conflict resolution abilities.

  • Demonstrates a high level of understanding of HCM Business practices, processes and trends
  • Strong networking and partnering skills

  • Responsibilities

  • Actively maintaining a depth of Oracle HCM solutions knowledge in the designated product areas.
  • Remain current on industry trends and jargon.
  • Be an evangelist for Oracle HCM products and present and demonstrate Oracle HCM solutions at marketing and demand generation events.
  • Maintain awareness of all relevant competitive products.
  • Help develop a business case for the customer.
  • Understand the needs and pains of the customer and then position the solution via the set of Oracle products / solutions.
  • Building and maintaining relevant relationships with the customer during the sales process.
  • Educating customers and partners in Oracle products value propositions in the designated product areas.
  • Specific to Role

  • Successful applicants will preferably have experience in HCM domain
  • Experience should be gained at an enterprise application vendor, a systems integrator or with an end user.
  • Demonstrates the credibility of Oracle’s products and solutions, at all levels, but with a particular focus on executives and other key decision makers in the customers' organization to become a trusted advisor of the customer.
  • Provide solution demonstrations and presentations.
  • Provides detailed expertise in creating technical and product solutions for specified needs and for creating cross-product solutions where required.
  • Can participate in strategic account planning, and can do this for major accounts where required.
  • Significant knowledge of a product set, including : Competitive offerings, solutions enabled by the products, case studies of implementations, links to development teams and information on future product development.

  • Attend customer meetings with the sales team to understand customer needs with a discovery, help develop the business case, understand the ROI and TCO and help identify the compelling event for the customer and present a solution.
  • Bring customers up to date with Oracle's product offering sand value propositions.
  • Design and deliver customer demonstrations to articulate, update and evangelize Oracle HCM solutions.
  • Contribute technical and product information in response to Invitations To Tender (ITT) and Requests For Information (RFI’s)
  • Run seminars and workshops for partners as required. Create, present and deliver meetings, presentations, seminars and events as required.
  • Engage with product teams to maintain product knowledge
  • Represent Oracle at marketing events as required.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and a solution contact for customers in the designated area .

  • Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology / application to client business. Facilitation of customer product / application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks;
  • provision of support throughout the sell.

    As a Principal Sales Consultant you will be responsible as the expert for formulating and leading presales technical / functional support activity to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction.

    Acts as a technical resource and mentor for less experienced Sales Consultants. Focuses on large or complex sales opportunities that need creative and complex solutions.

    Develops productivity tools and training for other Sales Consultants. Develops and delivers outstanding Oracle presentations and demonstrations.

    Leads any and all aspects of the technical sales process. Advises internal and external clients on overall architect solutions.

    Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical / business skills in area of specialization.

    3 years vendor (sales and marketing) experience. 7 years business experience with relevant computer applications or database / tools.

    Ability to implement the most advanced product features. Thorough knowledge of system and application design. In depth knowledge of competitors.

    Demonstrated project management skills. Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills : needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques.

    Ability to persuade others through presentations, demonstrations, and written communication. Ability to travel as needed.

    A / BS degree or equivalent, advanced degree highly desirable.
