In this role you will lead the strategy for on site content and email programs.

You will be responsible for designing and executing the content strategy and for driving customer conversion across all product categories to support Turkish speaking customers as part of the Amazon Turkey Retail team.

The role will require in depth understanding of merchandising principles, customer journey and success criteria. The Content Marketing Manager will be required to dive deep into site analytics to make the customer journey and navigation simpler.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Site Merchandising or content marketing in the retail industry. You must be able to communicate effectively across teams and levels, and use data to prioritize strategic opportunities within a dynamic business environment.

A successful candidate for this role is an independent, creative problem-solver with great business acumen, and the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously while managing competing deadlines.

The candidate must also have proven data analysis skills and success in delivering customer engagement by helping customer discovery and adoption of new products in a crowded environment as well as be a passionate advocate for customers, their on-site experience, and their ongoing interaction with Amazon.


  • Build out content strategies for site and email programs that improves customer experience and maximizes conversion.
  • Running A / B tests to optimize creative and campaigns
  • Segmenting and targeting customer with the most relevant content to build the most engaging on site experience
  • Partner with internal traffic teams to build out scalable direct response marketing solutions
  • Evolve and manage the customer life cycle management program, including email marketing
  • Partner with the product team to build the product roadmap that will drive long term success
  • Provide insights to drive an informed marketing strategy based on key metrics, historical data, and trend reporting
  • Use analytical insights to create actionable strategies that will help increase teams effectiveness against marketing goals
  • Own reporting of key business metrics to the broader organization.

  • 5-7 years of experience in content marketing or site merchandising
  • Demonstrated experience using analytical skills and the ability to use customer research and data to develop content strategies
  • Excellent project management skills, including work prioritization and project planning
  • Strong leader who can communicate clearly across all levels of the organization with a proven ability to influence others
  • Written and spoken fluency in Turkish and English.
  • Proven track record collaborating successfully with internal teams and delivering results
  • Demonstrated ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
  • Strong intuition for understanding User Experience and customer messaging; the ability to harmonize customer experience across multiple channels and marketing vehicles
  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Advanced SQL or other data mining skills.
  • Proven experience managing large amounts of data, including customer segments and online campaign metrics
  • Track record of managing and optimizing online traffic growth from multiple sources including, direct traffic, SEO, search marketing, banner ads, affiliates, social, and email
  • Proven track record of defining and delivering innovative marketing campaigns that drive long-term results.
