  • Supporting and evaluating internal and VF owned external projects from a security perspective. Providing Security SME support in the form of Security assessment and risk mitigation for all other projects and change requests
  • Understanding the business needs and defining security requirements in accordance with company’s strategy and new technological solutions
  • Understanding the severity and criticality of the data held on systems and planning logging, reporting and alarming accordingly
  • Working closely with fraud, audit, investigation and IT teams in a collaborative manner
  • Attending internal and external audits and preparing evidences when required, working closely with relevant teams
  • Working closely with Vodafone Group Security Teams and attending calls or meetings when required and representing Turkey team’s achievements to Group
  • Planning for the implementation of Secure By Design approach to the digital platforms. Supporting to maintain the secure sw development lifecycle.
  • Defining security controls and ensuring that the controls are in place

  • Performing risk management activities and working with teams for reporting cyber security risks to top management
  • Coordinating the security tests for the projects where necessary
  • Planning any required expansion for log management systems, DLP, UAM, classification products tools and implementing the solution
  • Continuous development of correlation rules for effective security monitoring of administrative / user activities, third party accesses, internal and external attacks
  • Supporting SOC team for a better and more effective security monitoring against evolving threats. Supporting Cyber Defense team in line with VF Cyber Security Baselines.
  • Working in cooperation with vendors and third party companies
  • Preparing documentation and procedures for the systems and services according to company policies and standards
  • Preparing documentation, presentation and training about security services and presenting to team members, other Vodafone teams, customers, partners and other 3rd parties when required
  • Planning and ensuring business continuity of security platform

  • University degree (BS / MS) in Engineering discipline (Electrical-Electronics, Computer Science or similar)
  • Fluent in English both written and spoken
  • 4-6 years of work experience in information security or IT security
  • Certified on ISMS systems and industry spesific standards (CISSP, CEH, ISO27001)
  • Strong knowledge on IT security controls
  • Knowledge on OS, DB, Microsoft systems and hardening baselines regarding to each
  • Understanding of networking, having CCNA / CCNP certificates is an advantage
  • Knowledge on Log Management systems (Arcsight, Centrify, Imperva, Guardium, Qradar, Splunk etc.)
  • Telecommunications industry experience is an advantage.
  • Having low level security understanding but ability to present it in a high level
  • Strong analytical deduction
  • Extensive problem solving and being result oriented
  • Ability to work in tight deadlines and delivering solutions within defined time periods
  • Team working
  • Customer oriented
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills, good in reporting
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with 3rd party suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Male candidates should have completed or postponed military service.
