We are looking for a Construction Manager for our Hotel Project Construction Management works on behalf of our foreign Client.
JOB DESCRIPTION Provides leadership and management for the project allocated.
Manages the Main / General Contractor for safe delivery of the project to the required programme, to budget quality and environmental standards.
Liaises with the Design to ensure that appropriate designs and Approved For Construction drawings are available to meet the programme requirements.
Managing the Contractor and Sub-contractors delivery of shop drawings for approval, and their subsequent issue back for manufacture and installation as appropriate, Approved For Construction.
Ensure that as-built drawings are prepared for hand-back to the Client
Prepare and issue variation orders and site instructions to the Contractor.
Manages the process regarding Temporary Works Designs from Contractor to ensure timely approvals
Ensures that designs are prepared taking account of safety for erection and subsequent dismantling of the components of the building(s).
Manages and coordinates all test and commissioning activities including coordination with Statutory Authorites
Monitors programme for availability of necessary designs and details and ensures that KIKLOP and Client and Contractor(s) are aware of necessary key critical actions / decisions.
Review and report to the client, monthly progress reports including identifying key critical issues, areas of concern and recommended plans of actions.
