We are looking for an 'Area IT Operations and Service Delivery Manager' for one of our leading global client in the cable industry.

  • Purpose;
  • Responsible for Networks, Infrastructure and Operations services of the Area
  • Has full accountability for Areal IS Operations and Services budget
  • Coordinates and manages an IS team to meet the strategy defined for the Area in his / her domain of responsibilities
  • Leads IT provider and supplier relationships to ensure SLA's and service excellence in line with the business expectations and takes an active role in major incident management ensuring full supplier engagement.
  • Responsibilities;
  • Provides a leadership role in the overall supervision of activities of the team
  • Reports globally activities effectiveness through dashboards
  • Makes sure that issues and constraints of the area are taken into account when defining the IT strategy
  • Participates in the selection of external providers if any
  • Is a member of the IT Services Change Advisory Board
  • Responsible for implementation of the sourcing strategy directives
  • Oversees processing scheduling and execution, monitoring of services delivery for Area
  • Ensures Service delivery in Area is in full adherence with Group Strategy, Policies & Standards
  • Manages IT service delivery provider performance
  • Coordinates that the change requested by the business is implemented (in alignment with Group Standards & Policies)
  • Ensures that detailed design of services and the development, configuration and customization of IS solutions are delivered according to service levels and quality standards as per Group services standards
  • Coordinates release deployment of services produced by service providers into the IT environment
  • Oversees the communication and presentation of services to the Area community
  • Coordinates the overall life-cycle of problem management from identification to closure and communicate to key IS stakeholders problem review and reporting
  • Manages IT service delivery provider performance for the Area
  • Is a member of the Service Improvement Advisory Board
  • Initiates activities to operate and seek continuous improvements to services and IT environment that meet current and anticipated business requirements and objectives
  • Facilitate the training and workshops for the effectiveness of service delivery personnel
  • Possess and maintain broad technical and business knowledge of all aspects of the service delivery
