YOUR ROLE

  • Assuming responsibility for product recommendations,new product demonstrations & sampling, and troubleshooting for directcustomers
  • Providing technical training to the customer, applicator,distributor and sales team
  • Problem solving for existing and potential customers
  • Assuming responsibility for coordinating lab activities(product trials, customer samples and sample preparation) with sales team / customer
  • Preparing standards and specifications for processes,products and tests
  • Leading project profitability improvement studies and costoptimization projects
  • Ensuring and consolidating that the growth of thetechnical know-how’ is shared and constantly increasing in TCS group
  • Contributing market information to be used in thedevelopment of new product formulations, processes and applications to addresscustomer changes in specifications and requirements
  • Working in cooperation effectively on projects with sub-businessunits and project teams
  • Supporting the customers and sales team in a face toface technical service role both internally and externally
  • Preparing internal reports and makes presentations towork group, department and the customers
  • YOUR SKILLS

  • University degree from a reputable university in related field, preferably in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering, MBA / Masters qualification is an additional asset
  • Up to 5 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management
  • Competent in problem-solving, analytical and interpersonal skills and ability to work with a variety of people
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills (PowerPoint, Excel and Word)
