As EY Turkey M&A team we have executed several outstanding transactions in Turkey and the region including Gratis-Actera, Acıbadem-
Tokuda Hospitals (Bulgaria), Turkuaz Sağlık-Ak Portföy, Migros-Tesco Kipa, Unilever (Unipro)-AAK transactions. We are seeking for Seniors to join our Transaction Advisory Services / Mergers & Acquisitions team with the following qualifications;
Strong academic background, including a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or other related field.
Corporate finance related a course taken is a plus.
Two or three years of related work experience in a similar institution active in transactions
Demonstrated aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis
Knowledge of M&A transactions and the trends in the market
Knowledge in general M&A scope and documentation such as information memorandum, teaser, valuation, due diligence process, SPA and SHA.
Excellent problem solving, project management, facilitation and interpersonal abilities
Proficiency with MS Office
Strong work initiative and the ability to adapt to new challenges and ideas
Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work well within a team
English language skills (excellent written and verbal communication)
Preferably military service obligation completed for male candidates
No travel restrictions
Work on client engagement teams executing M&A advisory services which support key decision makers in developing and executing strategies for transactions
Be responsible for assessing the client's state of readiness with respect to people, resources, planning, data collection and strategy, while identifying high-
risk areas, unidentified issues and areas for overall improvement
Assist with the execution of the integration plan while working to constantly identify areas for improvement including resolving integration issues
Actively search for new potential clients and pursue business development activities
Specialize in a key sector and gain deep knowledge in this area
Be responsible for creating work products that document the engagement procedures performed against objectives
Effectively participate on teams with diverse skills and backgrounds, while staying abreast of current business and industry trends relevant to the client's business
Use current technology and tools to enhance the effectiveness of services
Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel
