Thorough management of pricing for the Novartis Oncology products and reimbursement in alignment with internal and Global processes;
develops health economic evidence for relevant brands.
Analyses and develops overall pricing strategy plans including statutory discounts and alternative pricing & financial mechanisms which optimise Market Access processes and timelines for oncology portfolio in order to create revenue growth in short (for in-market products having Access problems) and long term for new launches.
Possesses a deep understanding of Health Economics, local and international pricing & reimbursement systems, local P&R regulations and the dynamics of pharmaceutical industry and payer environment, and is able to engage in trust-based conversations with key regulators.
Models pricing scenarios, assesses risks and opportunities with respect to pricing for in-market and new products, business and market access strategies;
identifying competitive scenarios in terms of pricing.
Works cross-functionally with Business, Medical, Finance and Global and Regional Pricing & Market Access.
Key interfaces include : Market Access roles, especially Market Access Head; Clinical and Regulatory Affairs roles; and Regional and HQ HE personnel.
Excellent economic and analytical ability
Min. 2 years’ experience in Pricing / Health Economics roles
Excellent understanding of pricing environment
Highly-developed communication and presentation skills
Ability to engage regulators on Pharma-economic topics
Thorough understanding of country Pharma industry and competitor products
Educational / academic background on health economy field is a plus.
