Job Purpose :
The Business Partner (responsible for Consumer Healthcare) will be responsible for reviewing and challenging local marketing organizations to secure attractive returns and gather learning’s within our group.
Provide actionable recommendations for brands based on insights and data to build marketing excellence. The individual must be able to review brand plans, budgets, campaigns and marketing performance, thus share and apply best practice.
Main Responsibilities :
Improve local marketing performance & manage robust marketing planning
Measure / monitor the performance of the BU / products, review KPIs and operational effectiveness with the respective BU management on a regular basis
Challenge for gaps, corrective actions & further improvements
Regular meetings with local marketing managers in order to review plans, follow-up and share and apply best practices.
Display strong business acumen, working to ensure marketing supports business and brand development, identifying gaps in businesses knowledge and initiating projects / action plan to fill them
Develop and manage a robust marketing planning and review process across the business in line with the business’s strategic priorities and establish marketing KPI’s, monitor ROI and work to develop insight and actions accordingly
Evaluate marketing tactics, results and their effectiveness to ensure optimum resource allocation for all channels
Prepare BU key brands dashboard update and generate insight and actions plans for improvement and acceleration
Monitor and report the performance of brands on a monthly basis review the results with marketing teams via monthly meetings
Review Market Research and monthly reports to identify problem areas and to direct relevant marketing teams to take action
Organize Regular Deep Dive Meetings by the participation of transversal teams
Know & advocate marketing excellence principles / best-practices within Sanofi, remind local marketing teams as necessary for successful implementation
Brand Strategy Development in collaboration with Marketing Teams :
Development and implementation of structured, practical, fact-based approach to strategy development, valuation, and business plans
Create and lead a process to identify and review market potential for therapy areas, in conjunction with Business Unit marketing teams
Assess and proactively share foreseen risks from Business Operations perspective to alert management for upcoming challenges / changes
Review local marketing plans and channel strategies
Assess & Improve Strategic brand planning process
Support preparation of brand plans in terms of market & product performance to assure effectiveness
Review brand forecast and budgets
Support the BU for financial / monthly forecasting process with a good understanding of the reference market & products’ performance / outlook
Lead portfolio prioritization within budget process ( 9 box grid & resource allocation)
Support marketing excellence capabilities building for marketing teams
Closely work with marketing team to ensure continuous development of capabilities for marketing excellence within the organization
Evaluate / analyze "Go-to-Market" model for the flagship products in the BU and make recommendations
Propose when / where to conduct resource allocation (Marketing mix ROI, sales force sizing) & provide inputs
Conduct modelling for forecasting, resource allocation (Market. mix ROI, sales force sizing)
Identify best practice and ensure knowledge sharing across markets
Required Qualifications :
University graduate with preferably a degree of Business Administration, Engineering or Economics
5+ experience with at least 2 years’ experience of Pharmaceutical industry
Minimum 2 years’ experience in Business Excellence (especially Marketing Excellence / Brand Performance Management), consulting, business strategy / analytics in the healthcare field
Project management experience essential
Product marketing experience in the healthcare field is a plus
Management consulting especially for pharma is a plus
Multichannel experience is a plus
English fluency is a must
