The Maintenance Manager installs maintenance programs, manages and develops the maintenance budget and maintenance team.
Engineers and manages CAPEX investment projects and therefore plans, directs and monitors preventative and corrective maintenance and repair activities so that the organization’s buildings, facilities, machinery and equipment operate reliably.
About role :
Plan, prioritize, schedule and manage maintenance activities to rectify break-downs and malfunctions and minimize business disruptions
Develop and implement repair and maintenance procedures; monitor the cost and effectiveness of activities to optimize resources, prioritize spending and achieve timeliness, reliability and safety standards
Research, evaluate, and recommend new maintenance equipment and tools to enhance the capabilities of the maintenance team
Evaluate, select and manage relationships with external contractors to minimize costs and ensure the organization receives satisfactory standards of service
Liaise with functional or operational area managers throughout the organization to coordinate scheduled maintenance activities with their operations
Calculate and execute the budget of maintenance activities
Estimate the cost, time and resources required for repair projects; prepare work orders and monitor the progress of work against estimates
Monitor and improve energy consumption
Lead, direct, evaluate and develop maintenance staff so that repair and service activities are completed accurately, safely, and on-time
About you :
Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering or similar
7-10 years of experience in an industry environment (preferably in food, pharmaceutical, chemistry)
Must be able to work within SOP’s, GMP, ISO, HACCP, OHSAS and SMETA standards
Experience with processing equipment such as electrical cabinets, mixers, presses, mills, pumps, pneumatic conveyors, burners, hydraulic groups, compressors, cooling tower
Siemens SCADA, OP Panel, PLC Programming (TIA Portal, Step7 ) skill on an advanced level.
Automation software & Autocad knowledge
Knowledgeable in MS Office Suite
Maximo knowledge for asset / warehouse management and technical purchasing
High Voltage Operating Certificate
Excellent knowledge of English, written and spoken
