  • Manage targeted Food chain customer relationships to gain a deeper understanding of their business and business needs to co-develop customized value offers that build a successful and sustainable business partnership.
  • Act as key contact / interface for all Syngenta businesses to value chain customers.

    Territorial Business accountabilities

    Develop Food Chain Strategies and plans in the downstream customers.

    Gain regular FC customer on Syngenta performance.

    Coach Territory sales & marketing teams on Food Chain / Downstream Management approach.

    Accountable to build technical crop expertise in the value chain

    Competitor monitoring and evaluation regarding food chain activities

    Consumer insights for Vegetables

    Run of branded fresh produced project

    Create a pull effect to company product to the end user

    Create efficient relationship with Traders and Supermarkets category managers

    Work closely with Portfolio Managers to merge consumer insights into portfolio

    Holistic understanding of value chain

    Deep understanding on MRL / IT

    Work across boundaries with key stakeholders

    Transition accountabilities

    Support the necessary activities to ensure business continuity during the transition.

    Adopt the new ways of working.

    Develop capabilities required for the new organizational set-up.



    Critical experience and knowledge

    5 years technical / marketing experience

    Key account management skills; strong understanding of customer needs, structure and business drivers

    Understanding of competitive environment

    Bachelor Degree

    Product managementand line management experience

    Agribusiness experience : knowledge of cropping practices and crop protection products

    Critical leadership capabilities
