To strengthen our team; we are looking for a Sales Engineer - Rock Tools who will work for Sandvik Mining and Rock Technology division.

Your Profile :

  • Bachelor / Master degree in (Mining, Geological) Engineering or equivalent experience in the sector
  • experience in technical sales, experience in rock tools would be an asset
  • Knowledge of drilling processes and the equipment used in surface and underground applications of the mining industry
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Good knowledge of written and spoken English
  • Strong computer skills in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook)
  • Good negotiation skills and the ability to close a sale
  • No obligation for military service for male candidates
  • Ability to travel throughout Turkey and abroad
  • Active car driver with a sense of security
  • The Sales Engineer is responsible for the promotion, sales, service and technical support / testing of tool products offered, in order to maximize revenue, profitability and market share in an assigned territory.

    A key aspect of the responsibility is building long-term customer relationships through a detailed understanding of the customer’s business while promoting the range of Sandvik products to end users.

    Key Responsibilities include

  • Developing sales opportunities for Sandvik Mining and Rock Technology
  • Acting as key contact for account and liaises with appropriate personnel to communicate
  • Providing input to Product Line Managers to address product offerings
  • Development of sales strategy for designated territory
  • Maintaining accurate customer records
  • Achieving budgeted revenue and GP
  • Ensuring customer compliance with SMRT terms and conditions of sale
  • Building long-term relationships with customers
  • Liaising between customers and SMRT to ensure all issues are settled in a timely manner
  • Responsible for overall customer satisfaction
  • Providing regular status reports on business activities, opportunity development and overall satisfaction of customers base
  • Staying current with industry developments, competitive offerings and issues affecting sales and customers
  • Participating in technical studies, demonstrations and / or field tests
  • Ability to build strong customer relationships at all levels
