  • To ensure that all beverages are prepared and served in accordance with bar and company service standards.
  • To ensure that our guests experience is the priority at all times following SH ethos.
  • To ensure guests expectations and needs are met at all times.
  • To be responsible for ensuring that all bar mis en place is in place according to the bars standards.
  • To organize and take part in stock takes, manage the beverage costs and ensure that beverage cost is kept within budget.
  • To create and lead the cocktail and beverage menus.
  • To be responsible for the cleanliness of the bar and beverage areas and assure are kept in accordance with site, company and legal health and safety standards.
  • To lead the daily site briefings and ensure open, effective communication between the bar and other departments.
  • To prepare the bar rotas where necessary.
  • To identify recruitment needs and actively participate on recruitment activities
  • To assist with developing bartenders and bar backs through on boarding, on the job training, holding training sessions and suggesting further development opportunities to the Club Manager / Assistant GM and General Manager.
  • To ensure that the bar team is appropriately groomed and wearing the correct uniform in accordance with site and company standards.
  • To motivate, support and train the bar team and lead them by example
  • To assist the Club Manager when required.
  • To encourage all staff to attend House Tonic trainings & development programs.
  • Lead the House Tonic sessions with the support of the P&D department.
  • Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience at a similar environment
  • Detailed knowledge of the beverage menu as well as the Soho House Group and its concept
  • Have always a professional handling towards our guests, members and employees
  • Ensuring that the guest had a pleasant stay and resolve inconveniences as far as possible
  • Ability to train new employees, apprentices and trainees
  • Compliance with hygiene regulations according to HACCP
  • Follow the instructions of the responsible manager
  • Leading of the whole Club Bar Team
  • Be contact person for the guests & staff
  • Bachelor’s(Graduate) preferred Hospitality Faculty.
