We’re currently looking for a Quality Engineering Summer Intern to join our team. The position will be at the following location Smyrna, TN Field Quality Center and Nissan Headquarters in Franklin, TN, will be a full time position.

During the course of your internship, you will have the chance to become an integral team member and will have cross functional areas of learning which include : manufacturing continuous improvement, process parameters, and design requirements for quality and sustainable manufacturing processes.

Job functions Include but are not limited to :

  • Work with experienced professionals in : Product Safety and Field Quality Assurance, Field Quality Investigation or Advanced Tech Field Quality Investigation
  • Gain experience in data analysis, identification of issues, installing parts, writing test reports, and communicating data in a manner that is usable by engineers
  • Gain experience in Program coordination, Research and Reporting, General Automotive and dealership operations
  • Research current safety issues, regulations & trends and execute related analysis and projects
  • Create safety communications plan and targeted internal & external outreach communications related to safety
  • Support vehicle field investigations and claim review process.
  • Manage a short-term project and structure a presentation for Management team
  • Minimum Qualifications :

  • Be currently enrolled in an undergraduate / graduate degree program in Mechanical, Electrical or Aerospace Engineering,
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Project Management skills (organization and time management skills)
  • Be a whiz in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint and Word) and especially advanced in Excel
  • Demonstrate professionalism and clear communication abilities
  • Be comfortable presenting to Management Team
