For this role, you will be expected to be located in Istanbul, Turkey; a part of TWAL (Turkey, West Asia, Levant) Region and be responsible for the surgical stures across the whole TWAL Region.

A Day in Life

Reporting directly to Regional SI Marketing & Market Development Lead, the job holder will manage the assigned product portfolio in the region, supporting and enhancing MITG’s position in the market in line with global and local strategies to ensure competitive advantage.

In close collaboration with other functions, Product Marketing Manager plays a key role in making the strategies a success, by creating a tailored approach that reflects the dynamics of the country, while maintaining budgetary stewardship and a close eye on profitability.

  • Proactive product management : Marketing mix strategy & execution, market intelligence & competitive training of sales force, strategic tender management.
  • Develop and implement the product marketing plan across product sales & disease state management for his / her line of business and for direct & indirect channels.
  • Drive and lead external promotion and advertising campaigns and manage all marketing events and activities.
  • Launch excellence : Product & program launches, landscape, segmentation, competitor analysis, product price repositions, promo & advertising.
  • Design product campaigns to manage stock turnover and scrapping and marketing budget management.
  • Manage the supply chain issues locally : recalls, holds, backorders etc and ensure execution and delivery of key components and services meets the business plan.
  • Manage the reimbursement related challenges with the collaboration with Reimbursement & Market Access team and drive the pricing positioning and processes with sales leads from respective countries.
  • Provide market and competitive analysis.
  • Responsible for positioning of Medtronic branding.
  • Execute training support to the internal and external parties when required.
  • Work as a key orchestrator for PPP & Turn key projects for his / her line of products.
  • Must Haves

  • B.A degree in a business relevant discipline
  • Minimum of 5+ Product Marketing experience in Medical Devices, Healthcare sector or High Tech environment especially for B2B and B2C product channels.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Competent & confident using new technology (systems & programs) and marketing methodologies.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Critical thinking, communication / influence and understanding of financial and market model fundamentals in vertical segments (specifically as it relates to market growth, market sizing / opportunity and competitive share shift in key industry segments).
  • Excellent business, portfolio management and financial acumen skills.
  • Strong ability to translate customer data into meaningful marketing insight, proficiency in segmentation & targeting and definition of stakeholder specific value propositions.
  • Proficient in developing launch strategies and tailoring the development of new offering towards the target customers segments.
  • Travel required at 65%-70%.
