What You'll Do
The responsibilities of the Solutions Consultant are as follows :
Assist in implementation of the FICO suite of products with backend client systems, providing best practice advice and guidance on implementation options and issues.
Gathering business requirements and producing functional and technical specifications
On and off-site support for FICO products for the duration of the project
Balancing multiple high-profile projects simultaneously. Easily switch from one agenda to another.
Understanding and communicating both business and technical objectives from multiple perspectives including client view, internal development view, operational and support view.
Seeking out clarification and examples when necessary.
Constantly seeking out and improving product and industry knowledge.
Constantly seeking out, contributing to and implementing ideas for process improvements, more efficient use of resources, product enhancements, improved communications and quicker issue-resolution.
Participating in client test planning and execution including issue resolution and liaison with other FICO personnel.
Supporting system design sessions, implementation planning and other phases of the product deployment lifecycle as needed.
Building relationships with a broad spectrum of stakeholders from senior executive to support desk. Leveraging these relationships effectively to validate assumptions, acquire useful information, negotiate among competing objectives, resolve issues, manage change, agree to direction and achieve consensus.
Ensuring completion of high-quality deliverables within time-constraints.
Facilitating discussions remotely (via web conference) to obtain approval on the requirements from all stakeholders.
Demonstrate the ability to manage their own time and manage client expectations as well as those of other project team members.
The candidate should also demonstrate excellent team working skills, being professional and personable at all times, and show that they are self-motivated, can work independently of others and take responsibility themselves for any implementation or functional issues that occur during the project.
Ensure that Sales opportunities are supported with the necessary activities such as accurate estimations and SOW development
What We're Seeking
Ideally educated to degree standard or equivalent work experience
Familiarity with analytic-based fraud detection and / or Compliance solutions
Knowledge of Business Analysis techniques and documenting methods
The candidate should have strong industry experience such as Banking and Financial Services.
Strong experience in IT consulting with a good knowledge of IT system landscapes and IT architectures
Independent learner with the ability to quickly understand complex concepts
Disciplined with good time management; able to balance long term projects with short term demands and deliver under pressure.
Cloud computing awareness and experience.
Strong level of skills in Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
Solid written and verbal communication skills in the English language, foreign language skills would be viewed positively
