Marketing Director MEAA
Brand Equity building in MEAA for Ontex Brands but also for Retailer Brands
With the ultimate responsibility for marketing, oversee the development and deliver a fully integrated marketing and communications strategy for the business, for new and existing products
Develop and implement the brand strategy
Oversee the implementation of the Marketing strategy including campaigns, events, digital marketing, and PR
Work closely with the Cluster commercial teams; enable them to meet their commercial objectives by providing them with appropriate tools, materials, and presentations
Guide the day to day activities of the marketing team, including the guidance and coaching needs of the dotted line reports
Ensure that the marketing objectives are implemented by the marketing team
Manage social media presence and direct programs to improve social media reputation and recognition
Undertake continuous analysis of the competitive environment and consumer trends
Innovations in the Area
Define the marketing channel and product offering. Lead commercial and product innovations.
Facilitate bottom-up NPD for the area. Identify competitor product gaps. Share market trends and customer requests. Discuss and share regularly innovation requirements with the area team
Develop, launch and monitor all product ranges across area markets. Maintain the area IMP
Lead Product Development. Create and validate product proposals from the technical side. Coordinate the design of packaging and printed materials, liaising with area marketing.
Track and ensure the timely development and launch of product portfolios
Lead and Support Product research and intelligence in the area : ensure tracking and analysis of the competitor products in key markets;
facilitate consumer research, on the product, across categories and markets; support the area team by being the center of market and product intelligence and category / product expert
Facilitate the Strategic Planning and Forecasting processes for new launches in the area. Ownership of all area project entries in Omnitracker
Lead Product Design. Work closely with the team and customers to understand product benchmarks, needs and preferences. Provide suitable product solutions liaising cross-functionally (R&D, plants, marketing).
Make clear product proposals (assortment and specifications)
Product quality and complaint handling
University degree in Business Economics preferably with specialization in Marketing, Finance, Business Administration, Applied Mathematics
5yrs+ marketing manager, preferably within Healthcare / FMCG Multinational Companies;
Strong commercial experience
Experience of working in a multicultural environment, in different countries
