Respond to Cyber Security incidents and lead the technical investigations
Actively monitor systems and networks for intrusions
Identify security flaws and vulnerabilities (including patch management)
Perform malware analysis and reverse engineering
Develop a procedural set of responses to security problems
Stays up to date on current attack and vulnerability trends through independent research
Liaison with Group Cyber Defence Threat Analysis and Incident Management functions
Perform root cause analysis on incidents and create a development plan to decrease the risk of future occurrence the same situations
Produce detailed incident reports and technical briefs for management, administrators and end-users
Assist with the implementation of new and updated security mechanisms
Support system and network engineers about threats and risks related to threats and collaborate with them
BSc. in Computer / Industrial / Electrical & Electronics Engineering is desired
Masters degree (preferably in Computer Science) or equivalent information security experience is desired
At least five years experience in security, virtualisation or network administration
GCIH, CCE, CEH, CISSP, Security+ or equivalent would be desirable
Experience working in complex operational ICT environments
Solid knowledge of security principles and practices
Proven experience in the following topics are desired :
o Windows, UNIX and Linux operating systems
o C, C++, C#, Java, ASM, PHP, PERL
o TCP / IP-based network communications
o Computer hardware and software systems
o Operating system installation, patching and configuration
o Backup and archiving technologies
o Web-based application security
o eDiscovery tools (NUIX, Relativity, Clearwell, etc.)
o Forensic software applications (e.g. EnCase, FTK, Helix, Cellebrite, XRY, etc.)
o Enterprise system monitoring tools and SIEMs
o Cloud computing
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Critical thinking with strong attention to details and follow up
Flexible, adaptable and down-to-earth personality
Clear and concisely communication skills
Fluency in English
