Primary Purpose :

The role is responsible for the marketing activities for the Immuno-diagnostics, specifically Iran, Caucasus and Central Aisa as part of the METER Cluster Team.

This is a combination of product and strategic marketing management. The Product Manager is responsible for designing adapting and implementing a market strategy to ensure continued growth and profitability for bioMérieux in a dynamic and competitive marketplace.

This role will require routine customer facing travel within METER Cluster .

Main Accountabilities :

  • Ownership of the Product Management support for the METER Cluster (esp. for Iran, Caucasus and Central Asia) for the Immuno-
  • diagnostic product range

  • Contribution towards the achievement revenue targets for the range through strategic marketing as well as operational activities to include but not limited to, launches, customer visits, presentations, distirıbutor trainings, forecast etc.
  • Local pre-market activities and launch of new products / instrument / services according to process and knowledge transfer to the commercial teams, distributors, working in partnership with service and support organisations
  • Regular joint visits with commercial teams as well as independent proactive activities according to the needs of the business
  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with KOL’s and other stakeholders across the region
  • Represent the local voice of customer and transfer knowledge to Global and EMEA Marketing / business stakeholder groups
  • Qualifications

  • Higher scientific education (PHD, Masters or similar), several years’ experience in the appropriate product area and understanding of mainstream IVD techniques.
  • Proven Product Management / Marketing essential and Sales background desirable. Good knowledge of the competition.

  • Current Industry knowledge and of our customers (public / private laboratories) & local reimbursement mechanisms as appropriate, operating within a regulated diagnostic marketplace.
  • Able to understand laboratory workflow, able to discuss with KOL as peers, design and deliver presentations, organise local meetings, possible local study evaluation protocols, comfortable working within an international matrix organisation.
  • 3 years Product Management / Marketing experience, emotionally intelligent, a flexible team player, analytical in thinking, strong customer / patient focus & results oriented.

  • Strong communication skills, able to share product / market knowledge with and enthuse the Commercial / Service & business support teams.
  • Enthusiastic & highly committed to succeed, organisation & planning skills.

  • The Product Manager needs to work with high autonomy and also be comfortable working as part of a team.
  • Fluent in English and Persian. Knowledge of Russian language will be an asset.
  • Travel time : 50%
  • This position must be located in İstanbul.
