Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's / Master’s degree in social sciences or a relevant area
  • fluency in English both written and spoken
  • at least 2 years of HR experience
  • reasonable skills on daily HR operations and HR-IT systems
  • experience working in a matrix organization
  • experience working with all levels of the business
  • experience supporting employees across multiple locations
  • experience with Workday or a global HR management software would be preferred
  • good communication and coordination skills
  • excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • ability to set priorities, and manage tight timescales
  • strong facilitation and presentation skills
  • able to travel other Sandvik offices in Turkey or abroad (if necessary)
  • Job Description :

    We are searching for a HR Specialist in our SMRT office in Ankara with reasonable knowledge on daily HR operations, being a first point contact for SMRT branch office, HR-IT abilities to maintain data quality and coordinate with other stakeholders within Human Resources department.

    Key performance areas will be :

  • Full responsibility of entire personnel process (completion of employee cycle from entry to leaving employment, including all personnel changes, i.e. promotions)
  • Being the first point of contact for all employees and managers regarding all HR related matters coming from the assigned business divisions (i.
  • e. recruitment, onboarding, performance management, talent management, payroll, training and development, system changes etc.)

  • Responsible for the recruitment process through placing job advertisements, arranging and conducting interviews, obtaining and documenting references until onboarding
  • Supporting Regional C&B responsible on execution of Annual Salary Review, managing ad-hoc report requests & salary benchmark requests in defined area
  • Preparation and execution of monthly payroll process (inhouse and with external payroll provider)
  • Responsible for yearly training & development activities
  • Supporting managers / employees for the Performance Management activities
  • Supporting HR Country Coordinator in line with the Sandvik's yearly HR plan.
  • Updating and developing relevant HR-IT systems and tools
  • Support HR projects & local implementation activities
  • Acting as an internal communicator of Human Resources department
  • Preparing local & global reports based on HR KPI’s and periodic / ad-hoc reports if requested
  • This role will be reporting directly to the Territory Manager, SMRT in Ankara and expected to cooperate with other HR stakeholders within SMRT.

    Also here will be a strong relationship with HR Country Coordinator,Turkey and other HR professionals based in Istanbul.

    During the onboarding period ; it is very likely to have frequent travel to Istanbul office.
