Purpose of the Position : The region operates indirectly through channel partners and is a very important growth market for Videojet over past number of years, with still a great deal of opportunity for further sales success.
The Distributor Manager will provide all necessary leadership and operational management to achieve market share and sales growth targets whilst improving profitability.
Additionally, the Distributor Manager will serve as the Company’s authorized legal representation to customers, suppliers, associates, and authorities and, at all times, safeguard the interest of Danaher and it’s shareholders.
The position will contribute Strong leadership, commercial savvy, and customer focus and will play an essential role in enabling this business to gain market share from the competitors and achieve strong sales growth.
Key Responsibilities : Key Responsibilities Key Measurements Determine and carry out a sales strategy that will profitably increase market share across all product lines through indirect channel partners.
Measured via market intelligence and meeting milestones / targets in the strategy. Through change management and use of DBS develop the organization to a high level of expertise and efficiency in sales, marketing, margin, competitiveness and profitability.
Monthly performance targets, including all internal management reporting requirements. Successful transition of functions into Regional Operating Centre whilst maintaining customer satisfaction.
Motivate & drive the indirect channel partner sales team to hit and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets Monthly sales to plan Independently manage country distributors and ensure growth.
Maintain contact and activate current distributors on : sales forecast, marketing- and communication plans, training sales force and / or brand management, solve problems.
Follow the implementation of brand strategies and plans of distributors; analyze feedback, and propose changes and improvements when necessary to optimize bottom line results.
Communicate effectively within the organization and the distributor teams to ensure the motivation and alignment to achieve sales objectives.
Carrying out business plans and setting up sales targets together with distributors.Selecting new distributors when deemed necessary and following up of contractual agreements.
Monitoring / reporting competitive activities in the region.Being present at regional exhibitions. Growth rates business lines, product families, product types.
Daily leadership, management and prioritization of all business objectives and initiatives. Measured by performance to goals established through policy deployment and the financial budgeting process.
Accountable for all aspects of the trading performance and cash management of the combined business against an agreed annual plan.
Measured against the annual profit and cash flow plan.
