Amazon is looking for an experienced and driven Key Account Manager to be part of the EU Expansion team.

Key Account Managers will be responsible for initiating and developing strong relationships with medium and large selling partners.

They will balance their time between managing new selling partners and assisting existing ones in driving program adoption to best suit their specific needs.

The objective of the Key Account Manager is to prospect, qualify and close high potential selling partners that deliver competitive selection, pricing, and availability.

In addition to recruiting key selling partners, the successful candidate will help them launch on Amazon's online store by ensuring that they master catalogue, pricing and other tools.

Key Account Managers will also be responsible for driving projects and setting processes within their team. They will work with various stakeholders and teams across the Amazon organization both locally and internationally.

Operating in a fast-moving and sometimes ambiguous environment the successful candidate will be required to work autonomously, taking responsibility for achieving business objectives.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Contribute to prospecting and lead generation activities
  • Assist selling partners with onboarding
  • Meet or exceed targets for key account management
  • Educate and network with key prospect and customer contacts
  • Relay market needs and requirements back to internal Amazon teams including Product Management, Technical and Category Management teams
  • Drive customer satisfaction
  • Work closely with marketing, merchandising, business development, customer service and other key internal Amazon stakeholders
  • Analyze industry and Amazon internal data to understand competitive landscape across multiple categories and identify customer trends
  • Identify unique selection or seller opportunities that drive growth
  • Identify and manages projects to improve customer and selling partner experience, working closely with internal and external teams
  • Coach and mentor New Account Managers
  • Fluency in English and Turkish
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Engineering or related degree required
  • 5 to 8 years sales experience, managing large accounts
  • Strong track record of success in managing and growing large accounts, product marketing or management consulting roles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to explain complex concepts simply
  • Advanced computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to drive successful projects with a wide range of people at all decision-making levels.
  • Experience solving analytical problems, either in professional experience (data analysis) or education
  • Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment
  • Ability to coach and mentor individuals
  • Proficiency in other EU languages (German, French, Spanish, Italian)
  • Experience with e-commerce or retail would be an advantage.
  • Ability to work with legal, product, and internal business owners to reach mutually beneficial agreements
  • Strong business judgment, proven ability to influence others
  • Experience using Salesforce.com or other CRM tools
  • SQL skills
