We are looking for a Global Workplace Safety & SecuritySpecialist to work in Unilever Office located in Umraniye / Istanbul.
Assist the Global Safety &Security Manager to deliver the ambitious WTS Safety and Security Workplan.
Help co-ordinate severalimprovement projects alongside day-to-day operational support to the business.
Liase with the regional ServiceDelivery community to ensure Safety & Security of our people, informationand property.
Help drive enhanced compliance andgovernance for Safety and Security within WTS.
Work closely with supplier partnersto ensure program alignment.
Upskill and educate global WTS inconstruction safety and security.
Focus on office safety &security performance, infrastructure, service delivery, technology andinnovation.
Facilitate new ways of working todrive the safety and security agenda in a connected digital externalenvironment.
Offer project management and administrationsupport to the Global Safety & Security Manager to ensure clarity inproject objectives and delivery.
Help risk profile our globalworkplace portfolio for safety and security to inform levels of protectionrequired.
Help embed a safe & securityculture throughout WTS, 800+ FTE’s & 6000+ contractors globally acrossall offices, R&D & supply chain facilities.
ProvideSafety & Security support, advice and expertise to the WPS operationalteams in Unilever across the global regions in accordance with companyprocedures and agreed objectives.
Help ensure consistentunderstanding and deployment of global Safety & Security framework andstandards.
Champion safe and secure behaviour,contributing to reducing incidents and support the delivery of the UnileverSustainable Living Plan (USLP).
Participate in pilot studies / projects to ensure integration of safety and security requirements.
Key Accountabilities :
Help maintain SHE policy and systemframework across all regions in accordance with Unilever requirements incoordination with Unilever Group Safety and Group Security.
Maintain the Global WTS Safety& Security portal, identify existing policies and good practices inUnilever operations.
Support creation of engagingtraining and learning materials for behavioural safety, construction and retailsafety and security.
Delivery of subject matter trainingto various internal stakeholder groups.
Use global data to generate requiredregional / country / site level status / summary reports.
Provide ad-hoc support and guidanceto WTS teams to help develop their understanding and application of safety andsecurity.
Represent safety and security as avirtual stakeholder for global real estate projects.
Generate Safety and Security globalcommunication assets and toolkits.
Lead quality control in ourevolving business continuity plans for strategic workplace sites.
Write and update Procedures, Safe WorkingInstructions and Checklists which reflect best practice, changes inlegislation, learning’s from incidents, emerging risks and issues etc.
Provide risk assessment support forsignificant WTS events and activities.
Provide support to the global WPSregions on safety and security issues.
Assist with WTS SHE and SecurityMetrics and monthly reporting requirements.
Coordinate and support complianceactivities to ensure standards are maintained within WPS regions operationsglobally, including suppliers and sub-contractors.
Deputise for the Global Safety& Security Manager when required.
NEBOSH Diploma, minimumNEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent.
Preferably a Bachelor’sdegree (Occupational Safety / Science / Technical discipline).
Previous experience inOccupational Safety (+ ideally security) within an FMCG / technical / FMenvironment.
Excellent Computerskills - Word / Excel / PowerPoint / Outlook.
A passion for theprofession, working to keep people safe and secure.
Fluency in English.
