Under the guidance and supervision of the Membership Manager, assist with recruiting new members of the U27 Committee, ensuring the Committee as a whole is broad based and spread across all the major creative industries.
Schedule, organize and manage U27 Committee meetings every 3 months throughout the year, to consider, discuss and review all new member applications.
In addition, gather feedback, both good and bad, about club developments, levels of service, facilities and member perceptions.
Ensure Committee members are productive in generating new member applications through regular contact, such as personal invitations to hosted events and other social engagements.
Refresh Committee members when necessary.
Maintain a constant presence in the clubs via shifts coordinated through a rota run by the Membership Manager, being a face’ of the house to U27 members, and observing the atmosphere and compiling daily reports.
Ensure to meet all new U27 members where possible, explaining your role and allowing them to contact him / her if they choose.
This can be at Introduction sessions and through invitations to member’s events, or more personal one-to-ones.
During U27 events, and, more generally, when in the club spaces, identify attendees and guests that would make good U27 members and connect about joining the community.
Facilitate. application process.
Be responsible for the creation and implementation of U27 members’ events, helping to ensure that events are well planned (by the Members Events Manager) and communicated (by the Marketing and Communications Manager).
Make sure members can host or help with events (where applicable) as well as suggest new event formats.
For major Soho House events, both on and off site, play a central role in putting together the guest list(s) to ensure U27 members are present.
Engage in Istanbul’s young creative scenes, events, parties, launches and social settings, developing contacts, networking and building awareness about the club, its facilities, and how potential new U27 members might join one of Soho House.
