Role Summary / Purpose
The Wind Mechanical Technician will act as part of a 2-man (minimum) team to achieve safe and efficient turbine maintenance.
The Wind Mechanical Technician reports directly to the Resource Manager and indirectly to the Site Manager and Lead Technician when on a particular job.
Responsible for performing all preventive, scheduled, and unscheduled maintenance on mechanical power plant equipment in safe and efficient manner for the Wind segments.
Responsible for installing and repairing heavy rotating machinery used mainly in power generation applications, Turbines, and Generators as directed.
Is not certified to perform work inside any Cabinet / Controller without direct supervision of a certified Electrical Technician.
